We decided to come here for mothers day with our nan and we wished we had came with emptier bellies! I am an awkward dairy and gluten free person and i also requested no fish for myself and my nan. Nothing was too much trouble. The decoration inside the rooms is incredible. We were in the very top room with this gorgeous parrot light. Hannah was our waitress and she was brilliant with her reccomendations and suggestions. When the food came everything was explained to us and we tucked in to our food. The food won and we ended up taking a little box home with us. But it was so worth it. We will definately be back!
Just been treated to an afternoon tea for my birthday. What a lovely place! Beautifully decorated, themed rooms, staff were fantastic. Our afternoon tea was adapted to cater for a nut allergy & was simply stunning, absolutely delicious foods, quite honestly, the best scone I have ever tasted! Staff were very reassuring regarding the allergy, on presentation we were told of the changes to accommodate the allergy but we double checked because the selection looked almost too nice to be nut free ( anaphylactics will understand me on this ) simply lovely. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic staff & devine food. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, highly recommend a visit x
Lovely quaint place full of character, it's like sitting for dinner at a friend's house. Staff lovely and friendly and attentive Afternoon tea was festive special including a alcoholic drink, I had a voucher for afternoon tea for 2, had to pay 11 each extra due to festive option, which we were happy to do! Fresh ingredients, catered to my nut allergy, what more can you ask for! Will definitely be returning
We came to Mrs Salisbury's for afternoon tea to celebrate a family 90th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. All of the food - sandwiches, scones and cakes - was absolutely delicious and the range of teas on offer was amazing! The dietary requirements of my nan were perfectly catered for with a separate menu of her own, talked through by the staff member who served us, all of which she very much enjoyed. Thank you very much.
Such a lovely place to have lunch with friends. Individual dining rooms each uniquely decorated. The afternoon teas are exceptional value for money and the lunch menu equally so, with large portions. The staff are super polite and the dining experience is relaxed and informal. Was lovely to be served by Chloe today.

I had heard that Mrs Salisbury did a very good tea so I booked it to celebrate a special occasion. It did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we were treated in a warm and friendly way and made to feel at home. Our waitresses (Kirsty and Alice) were attentive but not fussy and managed to build a rapport quickly. Our afternoon tea was delivered with an amazing sparkly candle and a rousing round of happy birthday from all the staff. They catered for two different food allergies well. And - the food was delicious and plentiful - enough to need a doggy bag. Plus I had fresh mint tea which was the best I've tasted.
